CSV (Computer System Validation)

Computer System Validation (CSV) is the process of establishing documented evidence by proving to a high level that computerized systems operate consistently according to predefined specifications.

Under the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations, CSVs are mandatory for systems used for development, production, manufacturing, packaging, testing and storage in the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.
